Description:

Presented here is a very early 5  1/2 inch French Mignonette replica.  
I am the portrait artist, 'Emily', that created her.  I recently retired 
from teaching doll making and restoration of antique dolls for 28 years.  
Now I am enjoying making and researching these "Little One's". 

This little beauty is marked with a 2  and can be seen on page 56 of 
Theriault's "The Little Ones".  She has a long, soft mohair wig and a cork pate.  
Her deep blue glass eyes are of fine quality.  The silk dress has antique lace 
and vintage trim and ribbon.  Her feet are wrapped in the matching ribbon in the 
mignonette style.  Her hat is handmade of felt and matching lace and ribbons.

She was poured in white porcelain and then china fired many many times to reach 
the desired results.  I do my best to be as close to the original antique doll as 
I can.  I strive for the highest quality of likeness.  She is signed on the back 
of her head with my signature.  The certificate as # one will be included in her
